Darent Valley Hospital is located close to Bluewater shopping centre, the Fastrack bus service to Dartford and Gravesend, and 10 minutes from Ebbsfleet International.
Car parking spaces at Darent Valley Hospital are limited. To avoid waiting for a space to become available, we recommend that you consider visiting the hospital via public transport or taxi whenever possible. Drop off areas are available at the front of the hospital if someone is able to bring you in.
You may be able to get financial help from the hospital travel costs scheme if you are on a low income and meet certain eligibility criteria.

Directions to Darent Valley Hospital
By road:
From the M25 northbound you must exit at junction 2 (Darenth Interchange) and follow the signs to Dartford, take the A225 (Princes Road) towards Gravesend (Bluewater/Bean). There is no exit from the M25 at junction 1b unless travelling southbound. Go straight over the roundabout onto B2200 (Watling Street) signposted Bluewater/Bean. At the next roundabout take the third exit onto Darenth Wood Road. On site car parking and disabled parking is available. You can plan the best route for you using the AA route planner.

The nearest train station is Dartford. All the buses services listed stop at either the station or Holmes Garden - just a short walk from the station. Taxis are available from Dartford Train Station and for return jouneys payphones in the hospital foyer have a button that links free to a local taxi firm. Greenhithe station is nearby and a Fastrack bus service is available. By patient transport:
Patient transport is provided by Darent Valley Hospital, if it is your first appointment contact the Primary Care Transport Co-ordinator on 01322 428877. You will be asked a series of questions to assess your exact needs for transport.
Transport is provided on a strict medical need. Once you have had your first appointment, the consultant/receptionist will arrange any further transport required. Different transport options are: volunteer ambulance cars or ambulances that convey people on stretchers, chair or in their own wheelchair.
By road:
From the A2 Watling street, turn onto the A227 Wrotham Road. This will take you directly to Gravesend's one-way system, the hospital is on the left at the end. There is no car parking within the hospital but there is a public multi-storey car park opposite.
